“I’m very happy for my mom. She’s safe, she’s got people who care about her, they are always walking the halls and the Woodhaven staff has been, from the top down have all been very generous with their self and their work environment. THe Woodhaven main office have been very good with asking me if there’s anything they can do to make her stay better. There are several aides that my mom just loves. They’re her family as she calls - she refers to them as her grandchildren and they call her grandma, so I think that’s always a good sign. The rehab people here at Woodhaven have been wonderful. They’ve taken the time to try and get her to do what she's capable of doing. The progression from the time she came in until now has, or until she finished rehab has worked out very well, particularly occupational therapy. She wasn’t even able to eat or lift her arms or do much when she first came in and now she’s able to do that. The best thing about Woodhaven for me personally is the friendliness of the staff, from the front office all the way down to the person who cleans the floors, the laundry people and the dietary - everybody has been very accommodating. Woodhaven being so close to me and taking care of her has been a very relaxing feeling for me. I'm just happy that she’s being taken care of.”
“I came to Woodhaven because I had been diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor andÊ I was in intensive care for two weeks and while there I didn’t do a lot of walking so I came to Woodhaven for occupational and physical therapy. Woodhaven helped me to learn how to do household chores again with laundry and dishes and also to have physical therapy to learn to re-use my legs and get my leg strength back before I could go home. I think it’s a very good facility. I think they have a lot of friendly staff and they have very good physical and occupational therapy workers and I just think it’s a very nice facility.”
