Nestled in the woods near Forbes Regional Hospital, Woodhaven Care Center is one of Monroeville’s best kept secrets. A rural setting in an urban location, the Center is just five minutes from Pennsylvania Turnpike Exit 6 for easy access from any region around Pittsburgh.

Woodhaven is a 120-bed Skilled Nursing Center with an 18-bed Specialty Care Unit offering a new web-based Wound Care Program.

Woodhaven Care Center also features:

• A Restorative Program, which offers retraining in daily activities such as ambulation and social dining
• An Activities Program, which works to bring each resident to his or her highest level of function
• A Social Services Program, which serves the resident as well as family and friends

Each resident chooses his or her own attending physician. Other staff includes:

• Registered Nurses
• Licensed Practical Nurses
• Certified Nursing Assistants
• Rehabilitation Therapists (providing PT, OT and SLT)
• Dietary Technician and Consulting Dietitian
• Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance Staff
• Recreational Therapists and Activities Staff
• Administrative Staff (Admissions, Social Services, Case Management, and Business Office)
